Hi Home or the Hungry Family!

It’s that time of year again when our non-profit kicks into high gear with most of our community events — feeding families and getting our kids ready for back-to-school!

​

We would love for you to be part of the impact. You can help by donating your time                  , food/drinks, or monetary gifts (all donations are tax-deductible). Every contribution goes directly toward serving our community and making a difference.

Here’s our August 2025 Event Lineup:

1️⃣ National Night Out
📍 Arbor Glen Recreational Center – 1520 Clanton Rd, Charlotte, NC 28208
📅 Tuesday, August 5
🕗 Setup: 8am (tentative) | Event: 4pm
📌 Summary: Set up tents, tables, ice coolers, and ice.

2️⃣ CW Williams Community Event
📍 YMCA – 3333 Wilkinson Blvd, Charlotte, NC 28208
📅 Saturday, August 9
🕗 Setup: 8am | Event: 10am–2pm
📌 Summary: Grilling hamburgers, hot dogs, serving chips & water.

Part 2 – Feed the Clinic Staff
🕗 Around 2:30pm (after the event)
📌 Summary: Fried chicken, fish, and sides for clinic staff.

3️⃣ Arbor Glen Back-to-School (No volunteers needed)
📍 1520 Clayton Rd, Charlotte, NC 28208
📅 Sunday, August 10 – 10am–1pm
📌 Summary: Possibly grilling hot dogs & delivering to center.

4️⃣ YMCA Back-to-School
📍 1946 West Blvd, Charlotte, NC 28208
📅 Saturday, August 23
🕗 Setup: 8am | Event: 10am–2pm
📌 Summary: Grilling hamburgers, hot dogs, chips & water.
